‘Competition Vest ‘

Greetings from the Far East Tactical admin team. We hope everyone is staying safe out there from the pandemic that’s going about. As you can see, we’ve updated our website. Our web-store has also been upgraded. As part of our ongoing updates, we’ll also be blogging more. We’ll be covering PAP vests for the next few weeks, starting out with the ‘Competition Vest’.

First used by the Assault Hawk team during the Annual Warrior Competition, the design was later picked up by various manufactures that improved on the quality. The vest features a quick-release cable system similar to the CIRAS. It comes with three rifle mag pouches, two pistol mag pouches, a radio pouch and a dump pouch. The Competition Vest is the most common and cheapest plate carrier utilized by the PAP, very often seen during the Demon Week training program and an affordable alternative to the Type 15.
