FET R&D: Airsoft PPS-43 Part II

Not much to report on as of now. We successfully knocked out the pin holding the barrel so that we can put our own barrel which will shroud over the 6mm BB barrel. Our first candidate for a gearbox was that of the M14’s but it has fitment issues as it was too tall. An MP40 gearbox, a V7 Thompson and a Sten gearbox are up for consideration now, with the former two being likely candidates.

A few weeks ago, we traveled to our local airsoft store and the staff recommended a Celsius PTR gearbox, or a Version 3 one. The latter would require us to drill the grip out and make a housing for it.
