ROC Army Returns Troops Home From Central Asian Deployment
By CGTN: Central Asia
A contingent of ROC Army troops have been deployed in small numbers to assist the NATO contingent blocking Russian movement in the Azeri region.
Turkey and its NATO allies have a strong foothold in the region, as many of Russia’s efforts are focused in the Ukrainian front. However, pro-Russian separatists within Azerbaijan and Armenia, all funded, trained and supported by the Russian Federation, do engage in small skirmishes in the region.
ROC Army troops have gone to provide assistance to the NATO region, mostly for humanitarian assistance and infrastructure building. While rare, small skirmishes between pro Russian elements and the ROC Army contingent have occurred.
Interestingly, close calls and fratricide have almost occurred between western NATO forces and the ROC Army. An American Army unit opened fire on Taiwanese forces accidentally, leading to complaints from a US Army commander, suggesting their departure from the contingent or removal from combat duties due to the friend or foe issues. “Their uniforms, vests, and helmet look too green and Russian like. I don’t like it.”, said a US Army official who asked to remain anonymous. “Why can’t they wear Multicam (tan-green) uniforms like the rest of our comtingent? Surely our enemies never wear similar gear to us.”
Whether or not the ROC Army will return is still undetermined, however, a representative from the Taiwanese MoD stated that the last three years have been successful deployments, and want to continue to deploy should top brass approve of their presence.
A Taiwanese soldier noted the growing dangers in the Azeri-Armenian NATO deployment. “It seems like the pro Russian separatists are getting better at waging unconventional war. One of the wounded and detained militia was apparently not Russian, but from a private mercenary firm called VODA. Those men are tough to fight, and fight more often.”
VODA International is a multi national private military company founded in the USA. The company has absorbed many different mercenary groups around the world, and own and operate groups in China, Armenia, Russia, Iran, and even in Central and South America.

These are not real. That’d be funny if people think they’re real, but no. It’s not that deep. The state of media and people taking milsim too seriously, lol.
