Beacon of Democracy: ROC Taiwan Postures Against China

In a change of precedence, Taiwanese troops have deployed abroad for the first time since the War on ISIL. This comes after the rising tensions between the PRC and the ROC, as China shifts relations more towards Russia, deploying troops in an advisory capacity and providing military aid.

The wholesale retailer Alibaba providing individual equipment and other military goods to Russian troops deployed to Ukraine.

A Taiwanese Ministry of National Defense spokesperson stated that Taiwanese troops were deployed abroad, but did not specify which countries they were deployed to.

Speculations that their deployment is to intercept and block Chinese involvement in the Central Asian region.
