Presenting: The E&L QBZ-191 airsoft DPS training replica
Ever since Real Sword essentially went out of business, there’s been a lack of appropriate airsoft AEGs or otherwise for those who do PLA kit. Enter E&L Airsoft with their T191 (QBZ-191), which was announced during SHOT show 2023. While a pleasant surprise for many, given E&L’s history of highly realistic products, it would make sense for E&L to produce a QBZ-191 replica.
The QBZ-191/ T191 from E&L is based off a paintball marker training marker as used by the People’s Liberation Army. Unlike many airsoft replicas the T191 isn’t exactly a GBB; rather it uses a DPS system akin to Tippmann’s ARs when they had a foray into the airsoft world. This allows for the use of CO2 canisters as well being able to be tapped like an HPA system.
The initial release of the QBZ-191/ T191 is projected to be the 4th quarter of 2023. It will be released with several other products from E&L, highlighting their 10th year anniversary. While some information has not been completely finalized and subjected to change, the initial batch is limited.
We’re looking forward to its release. For those that are interested and live in the United States, it’s advisable to contact MOS Manufacture since they are the exclusive distributor and the company behind the brands of E&L Airsoft as well as Arcturus Tactical in the United States.
